Hi, my name is William Cuthbert. As a motion graphic designer, I have only been around for 2 years. You might be thinking this sounds like no time at all… And you’re right! I have only been using Cinema 4D for as many years and I have progressed leaps and bounds since then. Constantly learning new techniques and motion graphic effects is something that drives me forwards and this constant evolving technology is something that always keeps me on my toes. I have a lot of experience with After Effects as well as most of the Adobe creative programs. Recently I have had an awareness of compositing and this has led me to research and learn about different forms of compositing such as node based. This led me to Fusion 8 by Black Magic Studios. I am currently finding my feet with it and hope to be able to use this program effectively and efficiently in projects to come.

Outside of motion graphics I am a keen film fanatic and this has definitely helped me influence the direction and production of my own animated shorts. Thinking about camera movement, pace and composition are all things that lend themselves to 3D and whenever creating new concepts or storyboards is always something that I pay very close attention to.
